Happy Birthday!

I was to write something emotional and I tried several drafts but I can’t.  Maybe that’s why I never wrote anything for you, although I knew and knew about you at almost the same time as Cwebb who I’ve written for for several time (maybe because he used to talk to me about emotional stuff years ago which you never did… You never talked about girls which is extremely weird!!!) And with him being married and my broke-up, you’ve become THE best boy friend of mine.

You know I will never forget THE moments:

when we spent days and nights on bbs and attended dozens of get-together and parties on campus;

when we were seasick like hell on the way to East Pole Island and enjoyed the starry sky as well as mosquitoes at night;

when you passed me a cup of warm water when I suffered from vomiting on the road trip to Tibet – too many memories on this trip of a lifetime;

when we faced together with so many tragedies and spectacular views on the Xinjiang trip – it is really nice to have you there when I got my bottom line refreshed at the Little Black Lake and on this way for the very first time I saw you really got angry; and

at SHS, at Xitang, at MAO Livehouse, at our village, at Citic Square…

You have always been sweet to me, never never got pissed off or even shown any sign of annoyance or impatience.  You replied every single SMS I sent to you even if I ignored many of yours… When you said I can call you 24*7 (you know I won’t), I’m deeply moved although I didn’t express anything.  I can’t tell how much support and encouragement and comfort and care you’ve spent on me these years which I didn’t actually give back to you and may never be able to.  Being thousands of miles away, I can’t celebrate this birthday for you.  All I can say is: THANK YOU and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Well, it’s been emotional enough, I guess.  When we were 20, we were lack of money so I gifted you a wallet (did that help?).  When we become 26, we’ve got money but are running out of time.  I hope this little blog, with my time and heart on it, can make you happy and warm like you made me many times in such a ice-cold winter day, and wish you a No-OT Friday birthday night and a quick and full recovery of your mom’s fever.  Bless, with my rp!
